Subject: Copperhead Ag furrow cruisers

SW MINNESOTA
Running furrow cruisers on a new to me 1770nt in conventional tilled ground. They are doing like they say they will by busting up the seed trench sidewall but the seed seems to lay in loose dirt that isn't packed at all, maybe that's normally a good thing. Checking some corn planted a week ago, most is up or just below the surface but when I dig in a skip what I find is seed that either sprouted and died or did nothing and rotted. Maybe it's a seed issues too bit wondering if anyone runs the furrow cruisers and thinks they should pack more. I know of a guy running them with a yetter firming wheel like a case ih behind them and he seems to really like that setup. Thanks
