NESD | I have an extra ez guide 500 that I am thinking about using to run row shutoffs on a jd planter. I know where I can buy a cheap ez boom to use as the rate controller. Does anyone know what type of cable will be required? The planter is a 2012 jd 1770 24row. I run that with a 2600 monitor. There are no row shutoffs on planter yet. I do not have a row command activation either. The planter appears to be wired for row control. There are nodes every few rows with plugs in them. Can I buy used jd row clutches and tap into the can harness somehow with ez boom? Or would it be easiest to have ag express make me a separate harness to go from ez boom to clutches? Will ez boom control jd clutches or would a different brand of row clutch be easier? jd quoted $1000/row to add row command... | |
