North Central Kansas | I used to be 1/2 wheat crop, and rest row crop. With needing 70 bu wheat to break even now, I am slowly going done to 300 ish pehraps. I am not sure how low I will go. I want to maintain some I feel for crop/weed rotation.
My question. What has been discovered to be the best rotation between corn, beans, and milo?
I am looking to plant 30lbs of wheat per acre behind my beans, to keep a cover crop before the next spring crop. At less then $4 a bu why not?
