Subject: JD 2600 Starfire itc GPS out

Wood Lake, MN

How do I get a GPS signal out of the John Deere system, I have a 8230 with a 2600 and starfire itc receiver and I want to get a gps signal out to hook up my CIH Pro 600. Dealer told me to use the field doc connect cable PF90363. I tried different settings, i tried a null modem and no signal. What am I missing? One that I haven't been able to find on the 2600 is where to set the 8-n-1 settings, I can find the baud rate, hz, and the different string settings. Reading in the past posts there was a post that said you have to use a different cable, did the dealer give me the wrong info?  If I do need to use this PF90350 cable where does it hook up to on the tractor?

Thanks for any info

It's been a frustrating afternoon to try and get a signal!!
