Subject: Are spectator sports losing their appeal?

West Chazy, New York

The stands at Dover don't look to be more than half full.  I have read several times that an NFL game wouldn't be televised because it didn't sell enough tickets.  Anytime I see a baseball game on TV it looks like more empty seats than full.  Our UH football team doesn't sell a quarter of the seats (although they only won a single game last year; that may have a lot to do with it).  I wonder if owners haven't gotten their ticket prices high enough that people are deciding there are better places to spend their money.
