Western Illinois | Quick question for you guys who are way more experienced than me.
I went out for my evening check tonight about 515 ish and had our best cow away from the herd so I went to check on her. She walked about 200 yards back towards the rest of the cows after I went to check on her. The whole way she had her tail sticking out quite a bit. She didnt have any blood or fluid on her tail. I got out of there and left her alone till a few minutes ago and she was back off by herself and when I got close enough to see her she was already standing up with some blood on her tail and a little fluid.
She is about 12 Years old and has always calved unassisted but I wanted to see at what point should I start getting concerned about a breach calf and needing to get her into the barn . All of the calves have come just about average size this year and she has had 3 calves out of the bull she's bred to without any problems.
