SD/ND/FL | I've been a very aggressive marketer the last few years but even I only have 25% of new crop sold.
I wonder how those with the absolute top of the market rents are handling this downturn. Very hard to hedge 3 years of crop in Aug '12 but that seems like it's the only way to make the crazy high rent work right now.
Who's going to be the next mega farm to tumble??
Haven't heard of much yet in E ND but this sugar beet debacle is inevitably going do permanent damage to some (along with some traditional corn/bean guys).
Going to be a very eye opening next 12-18 months IMO | |
