| Are Hesston tub grinders worth owning. Really don't like feeding high priced alfalfa to ewes when cheap corn stalks/DDGS would work. I'd perfer having it done custom, but can't really justifiy the high minimum charges. 30 bales is just to much to have ground at once. Will these tub grinders do a good(fine) job on stalks? How slow are they? What would be a reasonable price for one at auction? Are they high maintance? I'd sure appretiate any advice or experience with them. Thanks in advance! | |
