Saronville NE | Friend of mine and I were talking about this tonite, talking about hauling to local barn 10 miles away vs taking to big barn 70 miles away and the difference if any in shrink, he thinks maybe 2% at local and 4-5% at the long haul to the big barn. He's old school and a number cruncher so know he gives it some thought and figuring. So what do you figure for shrink when hauling cattle to a barn to sell? The big barn likes you to haul on monday they feed some grass hay and water and sell on wed, vs hauling in the morning of the sale at the local barn/ | |
