Subject: convert 7000 12row to 15in bean planter.

Bardstown,KY
I have been thinking about building a bean planter.I have a 7000 frontfold 12row corn planter to start out with also have many extra row units if I were to do this.I have a neighbor that has converted his 12row to a 18in bean planter ,he added a bar behind the center main frame leaving the lift wheels and transmision on the original frame and sliding all the units together on the newly added frame.
On the wings he slid the units together and put his lift wheel on the very end next to the marker so there is no wide rows.I would like to get mine down to 15in but my boxes are to wide to do this ,the unit is only 13in .Is there somewhere you can get narrower boxes for a job like this.
Has anyone else on here done such a project ,I like to build things and see them work I think this can be done and made work well .Any comments good or bad would be helpfull.
