I'm still trying to buy a cheap welder on ebay (craigs list sellers are unwilling to answer questions). I had heard about last minute sniping and raising the bid to try to win, but didn't expect it on a used welder. The price went from $205 to $355 in less than 2 minutes at the end. The new price was $500 and there was a $90 shipping fee on the use one. Crazy.
