Subject: Round Baler Belt Life Expectancy

central ohio
I have a JD 467 round baler. A week ago one of the belts got a rip in it about half way through. I had the belt spliced and moved on. Today I had two of the belts rip in two at two different points in time. The rips are all exactly perpendicular to the belts. What I mean is they are clean tears straight across the belts. The baler is eight years old I believe and has had 8900 bales run through it. Does anyone know how long these belts usually last? Is it time to just replace them all to stop having all the down time?

Thanks for any responses.

Jeff
