§393.207(g) in the latest manual says we cannot dump the air on the back (or front - seperately) axle of a spread axle from the tractor unless ". . . the power unit and trailer combination are not capable of traveling at a speed greater than 10 miles per hour while the air is exhausted from the suspension system . . . " (I cannot figure out the need for the rule but that has never stopped them before. I doubt anyone has the timing and reflexes needed to gain advantage by transfering weight over a scale traveling over 10 mph. Maybe it is just for those of us who forget to repressurize the bags after a tight corner.) Do any of you know of a supplier who can provide a switch/valve that will sense the speed, and function as this rule requires? TIA Gary |
