| I have an 03 Honda 500 Rubicon. It has a reservoir that both the engine and transmission use, holding I think 6 qts. I am using a considerable amount of oil, a couple qts per 50-100 miles. It doesn't leave oil on the concrete, doesn't puff blue smoke, and no oil in the antifreeze. I took it to the Honda dealership and let them look and drive it while the angle sensor was being replaced and they saw nothing wrong. I did fill the reservior with 5W-30 instead of the recommended Honda oil which is 10W40. This is the only thing that I know of changing. If it doesn't help, I will probably trade it off as I rely heaviliy on this machine for irrigating. | |
