Red River Valley | You state in your post " three words to remember that disapointment with yields will be the phrase to remember - In this post you state that you expected 120-140 bpa and only got 80-90. What I am trying to figure out is why you thought you would get 120-140.
on 6-29-12 you post that you were in a field that would not make 50 and this crop was a mess the like not seen since 1988
but last year 9-7-2011 under the heading C. Illinois corn Yields ....... Not good you stated that 110-145 would catch the yields
so my question is after only getting 110-145 last year and suffering through the worst growing conditions since 1988 why did you think yields would be better than last year ???
I'm sure I will get flamed but my interest is in understanding what you saw that was different that would have you thinking higher yields under what by you words were much poorer conditions ?? | |
