Subject: Flexstar burn increasing yield?

Post below in Raptor discussion got me thinking-someone thought burning, toasting, bronzing, whatever term you use, the beans increase yield. My highest yielding bean variety for the last several years has been the same conventional number, sprayed with Flexstar and Select. Last year beat the farm average by 6 bushels, previous years also significantly higher yields than RR varieties. Sticks in the back of my mind that this yield increase is due in fact to the burning. Any research or testimonials that confirm this?

Joke with seed dealer-have to keep planting that variety until I can find a RR bean to beat it-takes a little more effort to have clean field, but for 6 bushesl worth the trouble, for me at least. Thanks in advance. Bruce
