NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | Is it common to have rust spots build up on the rear paint of new Ford pickups? I bought a new Ford 1/2 ton pickup the first part of August last year & I keep having rust spots show up on the back end of the pickup. They are not real big & with some elbow grease you can rub them off, but their is alot of them. I contacted my dealer about it & he says it is common from the way the brakes are made it is coming from them. First time I have ever had a vehicle do this & I have had alot of different vehicles over my years. It just don't seem right to me. | |
