| I wasn't registered when I first read this post, but now I am and I can add an observation from DeKalb county in northern Illinois. I did happen to be outside with a flashlight, and noticed that lots of flowers, including petunias, were covered with earwigs after dark. I have been battling Japanese beetles during the daylight, especially on roses and grapes. Soapy water death for the beetles and bt spray for the grubs. Maybe diatomaceous dust for the earwigs? | |
