I came in the house for lunch today and was watching the tail end of the noon news. Andy Griffith came on next and it was the episode where
Andy was getting crabby and Barney told him he needed to take some vacation time. After a couple days at the house Andy decided to go camping for a few days as he wasn't getting any relief. State police come to the jail with an escaped prisoner they'd picked up. Looking to house him in Mayberry till the prison guards could come pick him up. Barney had enlisted Gomer as his deputy in Andy's absence. Barney tells state cop they will give the prisoner "maximum security". After state cop leaves Gomer asks Barney what "maximum security" is. Barney replies "thats when we keep the keys in the drawer". LOL
