Subject: Light bar for soybean combining??

SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ
New to this light bar and yield monitor era. Questions. We are on 10 inch drilled beans. We have a 25 ft head. Ez guide plus lightbar and PF advantage yield monitor with SMS mapping. Ok do we set the head width @ exactly 25 ft for the first pass and then set it for 24 ft 2 inch for the next passes??Will the light bar help me to stay straight enough or should I just forget trying to look at that and drive as close as i can??If I am off on my width it will affect my yield per acre will it not?? Or doesn't it matter becasue all I am looking for is total bu anyway??If I come up with more acres than the ASCS acres can I change that when I am done with the field so it matches my insurance acres??I want my SMS maps accurate as possible. 30 inch Rows would be simple but I like my drills. Thanks for any guidance. We will be starting this afternoon using a weigh wagon to calibrate for the first time.
