Subject: 3 quart maximum in crop for RR beans question

West Central Iowa
On the generic glyphosate label I am reading, it says maximum in crop use for soybeans is 3 quart total after emergence. We have a seed field border that has been beans for 4 years straight that was worked a few weeks before the beans were planted, so we sprayed them when they were very small with a quart of glyphosate. Had a lot of rain and had waterhemp coming so we sprayed them again 3 weeks ago with another quart. Now they are about knee high and more waterhemp. Some is over a foot tall and I want to make sure and kill it. If I go with 48 oz. that will put me at 3 1/2 quart since emeregence which is over the 3 quart limit on the label. Will this have any effect on the beans? I know several years ago the local dealer sprayed 64 oz. in one shot after a quart early in the season postemerge, but that stayed at the 3 quart total.
