| I guess this post is only partially considered "precision." This is my first season with a 16 row Kinze planter. I've been fighting my GS2 and the planter markers to get my spacing correct on the outer rows (sometimes they were off by 15-20 inches). With my track spacing set correctly and my markers set correctly, neither one is accurate. I've finally determined that my planter is drafting to one side varying from 4 to 6 inches. I've figured out how to compinsate for this (150 acres later), but meanwhile I'm wondering if anybody knows why my planter isn't tracking straight? My only guess is the angle the ground was worked (happens to be very mellow ground). Anybody have any insight? | |
