Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | Wife and I both became interested in this piece of American history after watching "The Black Blizzard" on the history channel. I learned a lot, but still was pretty well informed on what happened, I remembered studying it in school back in the 60's.
My wife had never heard of it. At first I couldn't believe she had was not familiar with it (she is a very intelligent well informed person)....but then I realized that it was in Ag class where we studied it not history class.
This was a big part of this country's history...looks like they would teach it in school, perhaps along with the Great Depression
