Subject: New ground - no till or full till

SE Michigan
Got 12 more acres lined up just today for spring. Land has been idle for several years. Owner kept weeds mowed and fence lines maintained. He cut the weeds in the fall last year so nothing is over a 4-5 inches tall.

What should I do. No till beans or better to start with corn (no-till or full till) had good sucess with no-tilling beans on a few acres of ground that was mowed like a lawn a few years ago. (This ground looks a little looser then that, the "lawn" was driven over quite a bit, this has had very little traffic)

Using a CIH 5400 Soy speical (15") drill with Yetter cart for beans and a IH 800 Cyclo set up for No-till (wave coulter for fert. and a wave coulter in front of the seed unit
