Today I came across a very interesting paper detailing some current research on glyphosate interactions with micronutrients and plant diseases.

It seems that glyphosate is a strong chelating agent and does not readily break down in the soil, which has some potentially serious consequences to the growing crop. If this research is correct, we are setting ourselves up for big problems down the road.
