Subject: JD 4010 hyd problems

Goshen, Indiana
Hey everybody. The 4010 we have has very slow hyd. Takes 30 seconds or more to raise the haybine(NH 1465) Both outlets are the same. Steering and brakes work as before. It started all of a sudden not slowly. Is there a valve or something that could be stuck? I remember reading there is a valve to adjust under the console on a 3020, would it be there on this tractor? I should point out I have almost no knowledge of hyd systems. Also the single acting raise cylinder was replaced last year as the old could not be rebuilt due to metal shavings scored the piston too badly. I know that cant be good. Is the pump going away? Any help would be appreciated.
