Subject: Putting an electric heater in shop

South west of Winnipeg MB
We would like to put an electric heater in the shop to just keep it from freezing we put on the oil furnace when working in there. I have a 50 amp breaker and I think a number 6 wire running close to where we want the heater. We are thinking a 10 kilowatt heater and use armored cable from the junction box to the heater. Is that the right beaker and wire size?
