Subject: Help needed with EZ-Guide 500 and Green Star 1

Bluffton, Ohio
I am trying to use a EZ Guide 500 and a AG 15 antenna for my gps input for a john deere brown box mobile processor. When I decided to go with yield mapping I had to upgrade my system from a 4.5 volt to a 2.5 volt so I had to get a new monitor when I bought the processor. I also changed two resistors. I bought an AG leader splice kit to splice into my mobile processor I installed a blue wire in position F and tapped into a black wire witch I think is a ground. The cable then turns into a serial cable witch then hooks into the EZ Guide. I then go into NMEA settings in the EZ guide and changed the baud rate and several other setting with what AG leader said it should be. I have talked with AG leader and a john deere dealer about what I am doing and both think it should be working. But I am not having any luck. If any of you have done this and have had luck with it hopefully you can help me also wanted to say that Marten Farms has been a great place to deal with.
