. | Broke the spear off flush with sleeve on the bale spear attachment, and it doesn't want to come apart, also found some cracks that need to be fixed so it's now sitting at the neighborhood handyman's place for repairs. Meanwhile I see a new, never used Westendorf bale spear coming up on an online auction. And the Westendorf loader complete with bucket and mounting brackets. Next thing I know I'm the owner of both for under $1300. It will come in handy for loading/unloading round bales, one tractor can be in the field, another at the wrapper and less road travel. Now to figure out which tractor it should go on...
While the mounts are the same as my TA model loader, this one is obviously much older, but in good shape, it says Westendorf, Smithton, Iowa. Any idea of the age?
