Kansas | Took the gals computer into a highly respectable repairman in the area the other day. Her computer is only a couple years old and he said it is junk because it has this "BIOS" virus. Its an hp and he said he can't get parts for it as they are obsolete.
Now this fella got his training in the military and he's treated everyone else I have ever talked to including me very good when it comes to fixing the computer but I am just baffled why....if it truly is a virus.......can there not be something done to clean it out to save the computer.
Can you fellas help me out here with this? Is the computer really done for?
