West Central Illinois | Not very experienced finishing cattle so looking for criticism, this is just a smaller pen I'm hand feeding that have August locker appointments. The ration I have them on shown below is what I've worked them up towards since about first of the year taking them off pasture to full feed. The calves have appetite but not like I like to see the bunks have not been slicked off in a couple weeks and they just dont get all crazy about coming to feed like they had been. Also included a pic of a manure pat if that is any indication. Am I pushing them too hard? These are 900 to 1050 lb heifers
17 lb rolled corn
5 lb corn gluten pellets
6 lb mature Sudan grass hay
0.25 lb Ursa Farmers R1500 mineral
0.2 lb limestone
0.2 lb soda bicarb
0.2 lb urea
