Subject: Frostbit nose

NW Wisconsin
Had an unplanned calf born the day after Christmas. No indoor facility, usually calve May / June. We were able to get the calf going good and built a temporary shelter out of round bales for him and his mother. The poor thing lost half of one ear and now his nose seems to be peeling off slowly. If you've had this what did you do? He 's sucking good and now that the last few days have finally gotten above 0 he's running around normally, tough little bugger.
