Scottville, 49454 Northwest Michigan | For a couple of reasons, I would like to run our wheat straw through the straw chopper of our 730 Lexion combine. I would then like to mow and windrow the stubble close to the ground for baling.
By biggest question, or unknown is..... how much of the straw that went through the straw chopper will I be able to pick up with the mower and put in the windrow to be baled?
Anyone have experience trying this? Or have any thoughts how it would work?
