Subject: Death loss percent.

South-East South Dakota
A post below got me to thinking. I don't mean to draw attention to that post but what does everyone see or use for an acceptable amount? The rule of thumb I always thought was 2%. Sometimes I slide a yard thru with none, and sometimes I bump up towards that.

I hate losing cattle but its unavoidable. What's everyone else see. Or use as a benchmark.

Sorry not a cool subject, but one I'm kinda curious about.
