Subject: Liquid vs Granular Hay Preservative

Alberta, Canada
I'm sure this has been discussed before, tried running a forum search to no avail...

I have a liquid system [Gazeeka] on my big square, through which I've been using the HayGuard/SiloGuard.

Been tossing around the idea of what to do with my round baler (5x6), and the granular system seems attractive in terms of a simple, lower-cost solution (compared to the liquid). But I'm skeptical of how well the granular works. Was also thinking that the granular system could fairly easily be moved from the round baler to the small square if ever I decide market the little bales, as in switch it back and forth between the two, maybe harder than I think?

Any thoughts or suggestions you have, on either the liquid/dry, applicators, or a specific preservative product, I'm all ears!

Thanks,
-Josh
