I recently read an unsubstantiated claim that Deere 9x30 tractors de-rate the engine when the 3-point hitch goes down. There was absolutely no supporting documentation with this claim. I got on the Deere site and accessed the 9x30 owners manual and read through it and was unable to find any indication that this de-rating occurs. If it did occur it would have a significant impact on an upcoming decision so I would like to know whether this occurs and if it does, how much and how do you know? Thanks.
