Subject: Does the Heat Index (dew point) have any effect on corn growth?



central - east central Minnesota -

For that matter - all crops . . .
If the temp is in the high 80's or low 90's, but the humitity (heat indext or dew ppoint) makes it feel like it's 105°F - does the corn (or other crops) shut down? Or have a effect on the growing plant?
We do not have "dry heat" here in Mn . . . .. .
