Subject: Dozer radiator fan

I have a 750 Deere. The fan currently blows forward. What is the downside to reversing it to blow to the rear? I had a fuel leak last fall and, of course, the back side of the radiator was plugged with fuel and dust. That is not easy to get at to clean. It also seems to me to be more effective to pull air thru a radiator than push it. I will put some smaller wire mesh over the nose to keep out trash. Any other dangers?
