Subject: Interesting Article on Smartstax performance

Tipton, IN
I was reading an article written by Bloomberg that spoke about Smartstax not performing up to VT3 and VTPro. I clicked on the link to Monsanto's press release and they said the same thing but worded slightly more positively for Smartstax. It is interesting that they are admitting what so many posters have been talking about on this message board. It is also interesting that they still claim that Smartstax should yield higher than Triples by 5-10% because of better insect protection. I can understand why they would claim that the new system with lower refuge requirement would yield higher, but I am confused why they feel it will outyield a Triple unless the corn earworm piece is expected to make that big of a difference.
