thanks for all the help so far. even though tach movement changed cps but no go. unplugged ICP connector and it starts and runs. So do i just have to replace the ICP sensor and call it good, or do i also need to go ahead and pull the valve covers and check for a blown o-ring as well? ps still working on getting the stripped plug out to check hpop oil level so dont know if its low yet. im assuming if hpop level is still full i dont need to bother looking for any leaks?

The ICP valve, that reads the high pressure could be bad too. If you unplug it and the truck will start, it's bad. That sensor is on the driver's side cylinder head and has a three pin harness going into it. If it blows out, the upper injector o-ring is a common place for the high pressure system to leak. If you can get the engine running and remove the valve covers it is usually pretty easy to see which o-ring might be leaking. |
