Bought a used 9660 STS the other day, now I get to work it over pre harvest and hope everything runs smoothly. At some point before I got it the shaker arms had broken and the shaker went up and smashed the fan housing and fan blades. According to Deere the shaker arms were replaced 450 sep hours ago, so the previous owner had been running it with the stuff all smashed up. Not surprising though, one of the shoe augers hadn't been turning for a while and the beater pan has a hole in it big enough for me to crawl through. So I would say they weren't looking the machine over to closely before they ran it, hopefully they at least changed the oil on time.
