Subject: Strip tilled corn in France (pics)

Driftless SW Wisconsin

I recently received a customer email and a couple photos of corn growing in spring strips made with our Pluribus units in the Lot area of SW France.  Due to the soil conditions there, coulter-type strip till has some advantages.

I thought US corn growers might like to see some French corn photos.

The area in W Europe and France where corn can be grown and mature for grain is very limited. However we see growers in areas where they get enough heat units moving to more western/US style production methods.  This ground was probably wine grapes a few years ago. Looks like corn on corn in the photo.

Merci beaucoup to the customer for the photos.
