The winter canola has lost most of its blooms and the seed pods are filling out. This crop was planted mid Oct. of 2009 and should be ready to harvest mid to late June 2010. We had a lot of snow and cold weather this year. The canola was protected by the snow when we had the coldest weather. We have been very dry the last month or two. At least with the dry weather stem rot has not been a problem yet.
