Cherokee iowa | Looking at prices in the ring and on paper. It seems if a guy can keep them alive he will have a chance. Are any cow farmers planning on keeping more stock back this spring? Or is it to early to call on that. Could buy light calves but would need a lot of feed. Or maybe a 800 pounder and lay the wood to them with cheap corn. Much enjoying the steer stuffers I bought last year. Looks like I may add to the fleet. What is the “trend” if anyone could please share. Also i see corn feed usage rising in the future as we go for bigger weights this summer.
