What are the tricks to harvesting 15" corn with a normal head? I know that ground speed will be slow, and the corn will need to remain standing strong. I have about 40 acres that I'm going to attempt this on. Fungicide and insecticide will fly on this week.
Will a corn reel help? I don't really want to use the platform.
