C IL | Looking at upgrading our 7120 this year. Currently and for the foreseeable future will be running an 8 row.
Price and availability have me looking at a class 8 flagship pretty hard. Like the bigger tank and the price per hour to trade is better than a class 7. I see class 8’s with 8 row heads and also class 6’s with 12 rows in the countryside. Any reason I’d regret a class 8 and an 8 row and 30’ 2020? (The 2020 is also on the list to change just might be next year so not factoring that into the decision much)
I’ve heard both sides on fuel consumption, higher HP = higher consumption and also less engine load so no real difference. It’s more combine than we currently need but seems silly to pay more just for a class 7. | |
