EC IL | Earlier this year, after a search here, I purchased a Brother MFC-6930DW and hooked it to my PC. Seemed like a good printer, replaced the first set of cartridges about 6 weeks ago, the only issue I had was the printer would not recognize one of the new cartridges.
Fast forward to last week and a Windows 10 update came through..once the update was installed I could no longer print from the monitor, still copied fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver 3 times. I spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with brother tech support this morning, she said they're aware of the issue and emailed a link to me for further windows 10 updates. She had me check a few basic things and didn't come up with anything.
Now the PC is so slow from all the horsing around that I'm ready to take a sledgehammer to it.
And no, still cannot print.
