Subject: Base Saturations

Does anyone have any experience with fertilizing based on base saturation levels in the soil. I know that is an indicator of a soils balance and was looking for any advice on writing a formula using base saturation levels. Currently i think our Calcium levels are too low according to base saturation, but according to soil test amount in soil they are good. we have been variable rate spreading fertilizer based only on soil test levels and adding what needs to be added for our cotton for a couple of years now and seem to have plateaued our yields. just wanting to see if i need to be looking at fertilizing a little different.
