NC Iowa | we have been wanting a deck so we would have a place to grill and room for a picnic table. finally got around to going to menards and getting them to plan one. thinking 16x24 would be a nice size. the maintenance free material material would be nice too.
it came to just under $7000 or about $18 per sq/ft. was higher that i expected. the ultra-deck decking is what really added up. i had them quote the mid price stuff. their top of the line would be another 2k. just plain treated lumber was around $2500
i think our garage came to 26 sq.ft including concrete and labor.
