| Wanting to work up some fall born calves but been waiting on some favorable weather and alittle more grass height before turn out. In the past Ive worked the cows and calves and turned them back out to pasture and have good luck weaning a couple weeks later. Very seldom have I needed to treat sick calves. Im going against the grain somewhat this spring and considering weaning soon after the calves are worked. Should I stay with my original program or take a chance and wean the day they are worked? Thanks... | |
